Delivering the Giorgio Armani experience and aesthetic in new store concepts for Emporio Armani, Armani Casa and other brands was challenging and inspiring. I worked with both the Armani team in Milan and world class architectural teams in the U.S to deliver outstanding retail spaces that convey Mr. Armani’s vision.
Working closely with the Giorgio Armani team in Milan, our goal was to maintain a consistent global brand image reflecting the brand aesthetic.
My interest in fashion history and design led to working in house for Giorgio Armani for nearly a decade. Our focus at Giorgio Armani was on conveying his brand narrative, through the lens of the Armani aesthetic. Mr. Armani’s vision and drive for excellence continues
to inspire me as a designer. After leaving Armani, I applied my knowledge of branding and design for retail spaces in consultant projects for other major brands, including Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Reiss and others.
Giorgio Armani launched the new concept for Emporio Armani by opening flagship stores in Los Angeles and New York.
Inspired by a minimalist yet luxurious sensibility, Giorgio Armani collaborates with renowned architects including Peter Marino, Michael Gabellini and Tadao Ando to reinvent his retail spaces and showrooms. He also introduces Armani Casa, his vision for home furnishings. Flagship locations in New York and Los Angeles start the global launch of the new vision.
